‘Shiralee’, 1978

The ‘Shiralee’, a 15-metre fishing trawler, capsized 2 kilometres off Disaster Bay (east of Wonboyn and south of Eden) on 10th August 1978. It had been carrying building materials to the Gabo Island Lighthouse site. The three men on board perished.
